Anyone from the Chilicothe, OH area. I would like the recommendation of a traffic law attorney. Thanks for any help!

I was gonna ask what you did, but we're all innocent men here. So...what are you innocent of?

Cited for 11 over in 70 limit. Turns out my speedo is pretty far off. Thought i was going much closer to the limit. The big deal is that i was traveling for the holidays and just decided to deal with it when i got back to nc last week. No big deal, right? You've generally got about a month to take care of a ticket, right? Wrong! Apparently in Ohio it's 12 days. So now I'm super stressed about it.

I got a ticket in New York for doing 20 over and I'm a Maryland Resident. I pushed back the court date as far back as I could, which happened to be 380 days after the incident.
I got off because within those 380 days, the police officer retired. Since he wasn't there to fight the ticket, it was an automatic win for me.
Push it back!

I would love to. Apparently the appearance date was only 12 days after the issuance date. I wasn't even back home from vacation yet... Didn't look at the ticket closely enough and just assumed i had about a month to pay the fine.

That's ridiculous. I called and talked to a person at the courthouse when I had mine and she was pretty nice. A phone call would never hurt.
I'd go about that before contacting a lawyer. They're expensive and usually only worth it if you're trying to avoid the points.

I would rather not have any points. First citation in almost a decade. At this point I'd just prefer not losing my license.
